Come spend NY's with AUUC on Great Barrier Island -- an island renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches, native forests, untouched coastline and warm water with fantastic visibility. It's known be quite fishy and offers excellent diving and spearfishing. Some of the highlights from our previous trips there include:
- Encountering dolphins, turtles and bronzies.
- Diving in a shark nursery.
- Diverse and plentiful marine life; large schools of fish, packhorse crays and rays.
- The occasional fresh kaimoana/seafood for dinner (provided by the spearfishers on the trip).
